Infant Care and Development

I have advanced training in Newborn and Infant Assessment, Early Intervention including PT, OT and Speech, Maternal Mental Health, and Pediatric Clinical Assessment. Basically, I’ve focussed on “Everything Baby” for the past 25 years. (Babies – I love’em!)

When playing with or caring for an infant, I focus in detail on these key areas of Infant Development.

Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Language, Social/Emotional, Cognitive/Problem-Solving, and Sensory Integration

Personalized Infant Development Check-Ins
If you’d like support around your growing baby’s next stages or would like time to discuss specific questions and concerns, I’m full of ideas and resources to support your baby’s development.  Examples of topics: childcare transitions, solid foods, childproofing, developmental play to support your child’s specific needs and interests.   I can also meet with a playgroup, or your Childcare Provider (nanny) regularly, to review current and upcoming developmental stages, routines and ideas for play.
